Well here we go...

My first post on this probably long journey.
I am a graphic designer and a fifties and sixties era huge fan.
I am in love with almost anything vintage.
Since I was a kid I remember myself being fascinated about all kind of retro stuff, as if they were emmiting some sort of energy that was fulfilling my heart. I always felt something missing there, as if
I was born too late, or in the wrong place at the wrong time. Always feeling nostalgic and sort of sensitive about old things that survived and came through a timemachine to our era (mostly with rust and aging marks obvious on them).
My first tapes and vinyl records were from the king of rock n roll, Elvis Presley, and so Rockabilly music was the genre I chose to stick with for the rest of my life.
I grew up in the 80's as a greaser styled kid, joining some of the few rockabilly parties in Athens, and boy was that fun.
The first car I owned was an antique Triumph herald 13/60 british one, and i cried 3 days when it was sold due to lack of garage space.
One of my biggest dreams was always to own a classic American rock n roll days jukebox, with a visible turntable mech.
I Finally managed to do that with the help of my loving wife Kathryn, which seems to understand alot and patiently stands me when "undusting" such stuff.
I love fixing and using my tool collection (some of them was a heritage from my late dad) so I bought an Ami K200 Elecrical jukebox in a quite bad situation! Got it pretty cheap so I decided to start sorting it up from point zero with some help from a manual i purchased also. I realized that I have some sort of talent in restoring.
Being a graphic designer gives me also the oportunity to design by myself some parts from scratch.
Parts like decals, signs or plastic related prints.
I will post this progress here, together with some other vintage projects I have managed and of course some more to follow. I will try to explain things and provide some tips and any answers to questions that might be made. Hope you enjoy this journey with me and feel free to ask or comment about anything you want.

I will be glad to become helpful in any way possible :-)
